On Tuesday afternoon, the second session of Olympic Alcoa Scholars returned to Lake Crescent ready to take a shower and share their stories from the backcountry. Discover what they learned!

While in the backcountry, Alcoa Scholars collaborated to design and implement a science investigation. As a part of the closing celebrations, each group shared the results of their research in a short presentation.

This week, we welcomed our first group of Alcoa Scholars to our Olympic National Park campus. They spent the last few days getting to know one another, becoming familiar with the landscape and preparing for their time in the backcountry.
