WildLink Family Weekend 2024: A Homecoming in Yosemite

This past November, we welcomed WildLink alumni and their families back for the annual WildLink Family Weekend—an event that continues to strengthen the bond between people and place. Held at the newly opened National Environmental Science Center (NESC), the weekend was a celebration of connection, both to the park and to the ever-growing WildLink community.

The weekend was filled with activities designed to help participants reconnect with Yosemite in meaningful ways. Guided hikes led families past amazing waterfalls, while storytelling circles gave alumni a chance to reflect on how WildLink shaped their lives.

But more than the activities, it was the sense of community that defined the weekend. Around campfires, over shared meals, and beneath the bright star filled sky of Yosemite, old friends reunited, and new friendships formed. WildLink Family Weekend reminded everyone that while time may pass, the connection to this incredible place—and to each other—remains strong.

As the weekend came to a close, families departed with full hearts and renewed inspiration to carry the spirit of WildLink into their daily lives. Until next year, Yosemite will be waiting, ever ready to welcome its WildLink family home again.
