At NatureBridge, we celebrate the stewards of today and foster the development of the stewards of tomorrow, working to inspire environmental stewardship in all our participants. Our goal is to motivate our students to be changemakers in their communities and for our planet.
Each year, NatureBridge honors a student who has demonstrated leadership, growth and a commitment to protecting our natural world as a result of their participation in a NatureBridge program. This year’s honoree will be recognized and will speak at An Evening Outside with NatureBridge on Thursday, May 11 at our Golden Gate campus.
It had been over three years since we were able to gather for our annual fundraising event Evening on the Lake. After a heartbreaking last-minute cancellation in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 lockdown, we were determined to bring Evening on the Lake back stronger than ever—and we did!
On May 12, over 400 of our closest friends came together to help us celebrate our 50th anniversary on our beautiful Golden Gate campus. From educator-led activities to campus tours to a farm to table dinner with inspiring guest speakers, it was a night to remember. It was also a major fundraising success, bringing in over $915,000 in critical funding to ensure all four NatureBridge campuses continue serving kids for the next 50 years and beyond.
