Reflecting on my time at NatureBridge, I realize it has become a repository of core memories. These are the moments that define my journey, serving as beacons of joy and inspiration. I cherish each memory created during my stays and eagerly anticipate the prospect of returning in the years to come. NatureBridge has woven itself into the fabric of my life, and I eagerly await the next chapter of adventure and discovery it holds.
Because of NatureBridge, I was able to see people like myself outdoors… Being in Yosemite solidified my decision for my future career path… I wish to inspire, teach, and instill the love and care I have for the great outdoors on to future generations.

Each year, NatureBridge honors a student who has demonstrated leadership, growth and a commitment to protecting our natural world as a result of a NatureBridge program. This year, we are thrilled to celebrate Kinzie Klein for her remarkable spirit and courage. Despite her Cystic Fibrosis, Kinzie never hesitated to take on a challenge in Yosemite National Park.
Educator Spotlight: Marley Pierce
The NatureBridge Educator Development Program (EDP) provided Marley with a platform to combine her love of adventure with her passion for increasing access to the outdoors. Today, the Golden Gate educator spends her days in the Marin Headlands, sharing her zest for the natural world, knowledge of the environment and commitment to diversity with NatureBridge students.
Students to Stewards: Siara & Molly
Growing up in downtown LA and Pasadena, Siara Edwards didn’t experience much diversity in the outdoor environments she visited. The nature she discovered in Olympic—forested, green and dewey—was unlike anything she had ever seen.
