Evening on the Lake, NatureBridge’s signature Pacific Northwest event, is happening on October 6 at the Amazon Meeting Center!
Join over 300 NatureBridge supporters as we bring our mission to life for our event guests in celebration of our beautiful Olympic campus! The evening will include fun NatureBridge educator-led activities, breakout rooms, a bustling cocktail hour, exciting speakers and an incredible meal and fun program.
We are pleased to announce the evening's breakout session, featuring Kim Sager-Fradkin, Allyce Miller and Vanessa Castle. In this interactive discussion, we will be screening portions of "The Beautiful Undammed" from Tangled Bank Studios, which explores the effects of the Elwha dam removals on Washington's Olympic Peninsula. Representatives from the Natural Resources Department of the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe will be answering questions.
NatureBridge is delighted to announce Dr. Jordan Thayer, a Seattle-based behavioral health specialist who works with children and young adults, as one of our guest speakers at Evening on the Lake. Jordan is currently collaborating with our Olympic campus staff in the development of social emotional learning (SEL) curriculum and in the training and support of NatureBridge educators, particularly around the challenges of navigating youth mental health and adolescent development trends in a post-pandemic era.
Registration opens promptly at 6:00 p.m. We expect the event will end at or before 9:30 p.m.
