Prince William Forest Park, VA– NatureBridge, the largest education partner of the National Park Service, is excited to announce the inaugural year of Forest Camp, a summer camp experience for grades 2-6 in Northern Virginia. This unique program celebrates over 12 years of collaboration with Prince William Forest Park and the National Park Service, and a shared commitment to fostering a connection between young people and the natural world.
Forest Camp offers participants hands-on learning opportunities, blending environmental science, team-building, and outdoor adventures in the park's stunning Piedmont forests. The program continues NatureBridge’s legacy of impactful outdoor educational initiatives, which have connected more than 1.6 million students to national parks since 1971.
“We’re excited to get kids out in this amazing park so they can discover, laugh, learn, and play together. And if they can do that while being inspired to care for their environment? That’s an even bigger win.” said Phillip Kilbridge, President & CEO of NatureBridge.
