NatureBridge Expands Golden Gate Campus, Welcoming Over 100 Additional Students Weekly

This fall, NatureBridge, a leading environmental education organization and the largest educational partner of the National Park Service, proudly announced the expansion of its educational programs at the former Nike missile base at Point Bonita in the Marin Headlands. Located just steps away from NatureBridge’s campus overlooking Rodeo Beach and Lagoon, the addition of this campus—which was previously operated by the YMCA of San Francisco—marks a significant milestone for NatureBridge, opening the door to thousands more students to experience the Marin Headlands every year. 

NatureBridge’s campus expansion in the Marin Headlands offers an extraordinary learning environment featuring sweeping vistas of the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco. Students have the unique opportunity to explore cliff-sides teeming with plant and animal life while connecting with their classmates and educators within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. PaHoua Lee, NatureBridge’s Golden Gate Campus Director, expressed her enthusiasm for the expansion, stating, "We are thrilled to provide even more students with the chance to experience the transformative power of hands-on, immersive environmental science programs."
