San Francisco, CA — NatureBridge is proud to join 12 of the nation’s leading youth programs to launch the Be a Champion, #InvestInKids campaign to raise awareness and increase support for youth programs across the country.

Collectively, NatureBridge and these organizations impact 1 million kids in the U.S. each day with programs that connect the next generation to opportunities for play, adventures, education, skill development, leadership, service and more. These diverse programs enable young people to learn about themselves and build a strong foundation for a healthy, productive life.

“At NatureBridge, we believe we must assume a fundamental role in introducing and connecting youth to the beauty, uniqueness and fragility of our planet, particularly youth that require a champion to forge this connection,” said President and CEO Phillip Kilbridge. “The Be a Champion, #InvestInKids campaign invites everyone to be a champion for our youth, and we’re proud to be a part of it.”

The Be a Champion, #InvestInKids campaign is funded through generous support from the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation. Participating organizations include, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boy Scouts of America, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Camp Fire, Coaching Corps, Girls Inc., National 4H Council, NatureBridge, Outward Bound, Playworks, Positive Coaching Alliance, the Student Conservation Association and the YMCA
