NatureBridge’s Golden Gate campus lies just north of the Golden Gate Bridge in the Marin Headlands on traditional and unceded territory of Coast Miwok, Ohlone and Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. Our historic WWII military campus is surrounded by miles of trails along unique rock formations, through wildflowers, with scenic views of the beach and coastline.
Here students study environmental science, conference groups enjoy day meetings and overnight retreats and, in the summer, the local kids explore the wonders of their own backyard.
My time at NatureBridge has struck me deep in my core. I was continually amazed by the people and the place itself. The beauty of the mountains and coast had me in awe. The people were open, and always willing to help.Alyssa Davis, Teacher
Located steps away from Rodeo Beach and Lagoon, our “Beach” campus offers an immersive learning experience surrounded by impressive bluffs, the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean and miles of scenic coastline. Our Beach campus offers easy access to our hands-on Marine Lab and Skins and Skulls Lab, our newly reimagined Climate Solutions Lab and, of course, the beach!
A short hike from our Rodeo Beach campus sits our new “Bluff” campus on Point Bonita, a multi-facility space featuring sweeping vistas of the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco coastline, cliff sides teeming with plant and animal life and incredible potential to connect with the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
