Yosemite National Park Challenge
Kicking off on Earth Day, April 22, we invite you to join NatureBridge and Fleet Feet through 250 miles of our beautiful and iconic Yosemite National Park. Join us as we celebrate 50 years and the 1.5 million students who have explored our national park classrooms!
Key information:
- Registration opens March 30
- The race kicks off on April 22 and runs through July 31
- Track yourself on the interactive topo map as you log your mileage
- Progress will also be captured in weekly emails to each participant
- You can run, walk or log exercise equivalents from the comfort of your home gym, treadmill, neighborhood streets, or nearby trails
No matter where you live or how you move through the world, NatureBridge wants to invite you to get outside and explore our beautiful national park campuses, from any zip code. Sign up on March 30 and follow in students’ footsteps from Yosemite Valley up to Yosemite Falls and continue on to some of the park’s most iconic and unique features.
Log your mileage to circumnavigate 250 miles of some of Yosemite National Park’s greatest natural wonders (beginning with NatureBridge’s National Environmental Science Center!). You can just explore Yosemite, or you can select shorter “mini” Challenges that will take you through our other campuses, highlighting the beauty and wonder of Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Olympic National Park and Prince William Forest Park.
