Unleash your inner scientist as you and your family make up a research team to explore the geology of Olympic National Park. Conduct investigations and rock identification along Barnes Creek and study your findings in more detail in our microscope lab. Examine how land shapes are formed using our hands-on stream table model, hike to Marymere Falls, or canoe on Lake Crescent. After dinner, evening program options include investigating Lake Crescent natural resources in our campus library, attending a gem and fossil presentation by an engaging, world traveling rockhound, or taking time to indulge in s’mores by the campfire.
Program activities and content will be geared towards students 4-12 years old. Families with children of other ages are welcome to attend the program and engage in the activities that are provided.
Tuition includes meals, lodging, and all educational experiences. Find answers to frequently asked questions at FAQs.
