  • Keynote speaker Sophia Danenberg, the first African American and black woman to summit Mount Everest
  • Interactive, hands-on presentations on how NatureBridge programs lead the field of environmental education through science and social and emotional learning
  • Hear from our 2019 Student of the Year

Keynote Speaker

Sophia Danenberg

Sophia Danenberg currently leads the international policy analysis program in environment, health and safety (EH&S) at Boeing. She has summited some of the largest mountains in the world, and was the first African American and black woman to summit Mt. Everest. Sophia also currently serves on the Board of Directors at NatureBridge. She will speak on the importance of establishing pathways and opportunities for all kids to experience and connect with the natural world to inspire monumental and positive change for the Earth and future generations.
