Get to know environmental education organizations working together to reduce barriers to youth engagement in the outdoors! This event is hosted by NatureBridge and the Seattle Every Kid in a Park Collaborative. 

Event Details:

  • Network with the National Park Service, NatureBridge, Woodland Park Zoo, Washington Trails Association, Seward Park Audubon Center, Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center, Salish Sea, Young Women Empowered (Y-WE), Salish Sea Expeditions, YMCA Seattle and more.
  • Tour El Centro de la Raza’s art-infused, community-inspired spaces.
  • Hear inspirational stories about impacts of outdoor education on students.
  • Gain useful information and resources for your classroom.
  • Enjoy free refreshments, plus attendees get a $5 ticket for food carts.
  • Win raffle prizes.

Location Details:

  • El Centro de la Raza is located less than a block from the Beacon Hill Light Rail Station.
  • Street parking is available.
