Scheduling Operations Manager

The Scheduling Operations Manager is an integral part of the NatureBridge administrative team and is directly involved with the logistics and implementation of all NatureBridge Yosemite programs. They ensure that accurate information is collected and disseminated to all departments on time. This position serves as the primary steward for many complex program details, and is responsible for all internal scheduling. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities #

  • Schedule all Environmental Science programs and ensure all logistical details are accurate and promptly communicated to staff
  • Create and update the weekly Environmental Science staffing schedule through Salesforce CRM
  • Supervise Crane Flat Site Managers
  • Communicate regularly with Group Coordinators to determine needed logistics and set expectations for learning and overall program outcomes
  • Collect and process logistical documentation
  • Communicate and coordinate any necessary special arrangements with all appropriate staff
  • Ensure smooth program implementation by refining, developing, communicating and supporting logistics systems
  • Manage online registration system
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Qualifications include:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Extremely detail oriented with excellent organizational, task, and time management skills
  • Excellent communicator with a strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated office experience, managing and communicating information quickly and accurately   
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred) and Google online tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility and enthusiastic attitude
  • Valid California state driver’s license and clear driving record required

Working Conditions & Physical Demands #

Well lit and busy office environment located in an area of natural beauty. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines. Frequent phone calls interrupt much of the day. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  May include occasional evening and weekend work.
