Operations Manager of Vendor Relations & Campus Communications

The Operations Manager of Vendor Relations and Campus Communications is an integral part of the NatureBridge administrative team. They provide exceptional customer service for all participants by accurately and efficiently managing complex logistics for all groups attending the program. The Operation Manager of Vendor Relations ensures timely and thorough communications with all internal Departments; as well as the Yosemite Concessionaire. This is a full time year round exempt position.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities #

  • Communicates regularly with Group Coordinators within one month prior to program to finalize logistics and set expectations for learning and overall program outcomes.
  • Collect and process all paperwork for attending programs.
  • Prepares weekly reports for participant lodgings, meals and transportation by working closely with clients, NatureBridge staff and the Yosemite concessionaire to ensure accuracy.
  • Hire, supervise and train 4-6 On Site Operation Team members in Curry Village.
  • Address risk management concerns with clients/vendors and coordinate necessary modifications with associated staff. Works closely with Campus and National Director of Risk Management on a case-by-case basis and promotes implementation of Risk Management policies.
  • Rotating Manager On Call Duties.

Experience, Competencies & Education #

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Extremely detail oriented with excellent organizational, task, and time management skills
  • Excellent communicator with a strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated office experience, managing and communicating information quickly and accurately
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred) and Google online tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility and enthusiastic attitude
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Yosemite National Park strongly preferred
  • Current Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED certification
  • California Epinephrine Auto-Injector certification
  • Wilderness First Aid certification preferred

Working Conditions & Physical Demands #

This job operates both in a professional office environment and in an outdoor setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. There is occasional evening and weekend work. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand or sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

Compensation #
