Housekeeper

• Performs daily cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning and other general cleaning.
• Performs cyclic cleaning such as window cleaning, waxing floors etc.
• Cleans and details vehicle interiors and windows.
• Participates in lawn care, painting and grounds maintenance.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
• Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor with all staff, guests, and Olympic National Park visitors.
• Performs physical tasks such as moving equipment, supplies and furniture.
• Might perform as campus host as needed.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and consistently to high standards.
Demonstrated ability to work cheerfully as part of a team under sometimes stressful conditions.
Professional experience in housekeeping preferred.
Must be willing and able to work weekends.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to weather conditions outside at the time.
• The employee inside the kitchen is exposed to extreme heat and cold, wet and humid conditions, fire, boiling liquids, knives, moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles, toxic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, in a confined area with other employees.
• The noise level of the work environment is usually loud.
• The employee must be able to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds.
• This employee will use culinary tools and equipment along with major kitchen appliances.
