The Operations Team is an integral part of all NatureBridge programs at our Golden Gate campus. The Team provides exceptional customer service for all Conference, Environmental Science and Coastal Camp guests. 

The Operations Manager ensures smooth program logistics and communication with school groups and Coastal Camp guardians. This is achieved through professional, timely and detailed communication with teacher and parent coordinators as they prepare for their NatureBridge programs. These logistics are translated into program itineraries and invoices efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate has experience in customer service and is detail oriented.
 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities #

  • Communicate regularly with teachers, school administrators and trip coordinators to determine necessary logistics and set expectations for learning and overall program outcomes.
  • Recruit, hire, train and supervise Environmental Science Program Site Managers and Evening Support, providing ongoing support including processing payroll and covering site support between Site Managers' split shifts.
  • Work directly in Salesforce (CRM), preparing weekly Environmental Science customer program communication, including due date reminders, logistics discussions, thank you emails and paperwork collection. 
  • Process operations, facilities and program specific invoices to the accounts payable department.
  • Provide Operations Team with ongoing administrative support, onboarding/offboarding personnel and maintaining current operations manuals. 
  • Prepare weekly Environmental Science and Coastal Camp meal/facility and group reports.
  • Ensure smooth program implementation by refining, developing, communicating, and supporting logistics systems.
  • Support the Operations Team to maintain a comfortable and safe campus for all NatureBridge customers.
  • Communicate with Coastal Camp families to make changes and updates, answer questions and ensure readiness for camp each week.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • 2-4 years of relevant administrative, operations experience.
  • Highly effective communication, organizational, problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Motivated, punctual and capable of working as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with staff and guests.
  • Must be detail- and solution-oriented.
  • Demonstrated office experience, managing and communicating information quickly and accurately.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred) and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and the Google suite of apps.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence to convey information quickly and accurately.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands #

This job operates both in a professional office environment and in an outdoor setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
