It's National Park Week!  That time of spring 2017 when we celebrate our national parks in all their splendid natural diversity and wonderous wild glory.  We're featuring some quintessential photos from our national park campuses and sharing a bit about what makes each of them unique.

GOLDEN GATE NATIONAL RECREATION AREA | From marshy marine scrublands to regal redwoods, Golden Gate is home to seven different ecological zones!
NatureBridge campus at Olympic National Park
OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK | From glacier-capped mountains to old-growth temperate rain forests to over 70 miles of wild coastline, Olympic National Park boasts vibrant green scenery from the Pacific Northwest and thousands of years of ecological and native history.
NatureBridge campus at Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area
SANTA MONICA MOUNTAINS NATIONAL RECREATION AREA | Replete with oak woodlands and wild meadows, the Santa Monica Mountains get their unique texture from volcanic eruptions formed under the ocean beginning 16 million years ago!
NatureBridge campus at Prince William Forest Park
PRINCE WILLIAM FOREST PARK | Home to minerals such as quartz, mica, and biotite, Prince William Forest has a thrilling history of transformation. Once connected with Africa, the geological formations in Prince William Park like the Dam Lake and the Alquonquian Trail were formed from volcanoes that erupted mid-continental collision!
