Having witnessed firsthand the "intangible quality" of NatureBridge educators, Lisa Holmes is strongly committed to furthering NatureBridge's mission to grow the next generation.

Lisa brings decades of experience in uniting organizations from various sectors to best leverage their strengths for creating infrastructure and programmatic initiatives that promote local food access and justice. She has worked with grassroots and community efforts to transform the local food system in Connecticut for over a decade, including serving on the board of CitySeed. In recent years, her work has evolved to an intersection of regenerative agriculture and climate change.

Lisa is Vice President of the Martha and Hunter Grubb Foundation and a founding board member of GreenWave, serving as its Food Systems Strategic Advisor. She was an Associate Producer of Food Chains, the James Beard Foundation award-winning documentary. In addition to NatureBridge, she currently serves on the boards of Pleiades Network, Rachel's Network and ZeroFoodprint (the Perennial Farming Initiative). Lisa resides in Connecticut.
