Linda Fisher has always had a love for the outdoors. Growing up, she took visits to the Great Lakes with her family and as she grew older, spent much of her free time hiking and biking. Linda's two children attended the Teton Science School, an experience she calls quite powerful in instilling a love for nature and wildlife in them. Witnessing firsthand how important it is to foster a connection to the outdoors in children at a young age is what inspired Linda to join the NatureBridge board.
Recently retired, Linda served as the Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President of Safety, Health & Environment as well as Chief Sustainability Officer at DuPont. She was responsible for advancing DuPont's progress in achieving sustainable growth, DuPont environmental and health programs, product stewardship programs and global regulatory affairs.
She brings a wealth of experience to the board having served in a number of key leadership positions in government and industry including: Deputy Administrator of EPA; EPA Assistant Administrator for Office of Prevention, Pesticides and Toxic Substances; EPA Assistant Administrator for the Office of Policy, Planning and Evaluation and Chief of Staff to the EPA Administrator. She served as Vice President of Government Affairs for Monsanto and Of Counsel with the Washington, D.C. office of the law firm Latham & Watkins.
She serves as a Director at S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc. She has been an Independent Director at Covanta Holding Corporation and Covanta Energy Asia Pacific Holdings Ltd. since December 2007.
