Dan Abrams grew up playing in the woods, climbing trees, and hiking trails in the northern suburbs of New York City. These experiences established in him a lifelong love of nature.
His 20-year career as a film producer and entrepreneur includes feature films, documentary films, and website development. After earning a Master's degree from New York University, Dan joined early internet development company KPE, where he produced websites for the Clinton/Gore '96 campaign, Daily Variety, and Monday Night Football.
Dan hopes to help more kids from all walks of life make life-changing connections with nature. He is a longtime supporter of numerous other environmental organizations, including as a member of the Natural Resource Defense Council President's Circle, Heal The Bay, National Parks Conservation Association, and the Rainforest Action Network.
Dan lives in Venice, CA with his wife, son and four-legged friend.
