Carroll got her first taste of NatureBridge as a parent chaperone for her son’s fifth grade NatureBridge program in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
Carroll believes NatureBridge’s science curriculum—grounded in the Core Educational Framework themes of sense of place, interconnections and stewardship—is one of the organization’s strongest assets, and she is committed to making NatureBridge available to students from all communities.
After a successful career in finance on the East coast, Carroll moved to California and served as treasurer of the Ross Valley Nursery School, executive committee member and treasurer of the Ross School PTA, Ross School Foundation member and chair of the Ross School Site Council.
Carroll lives in Ross, California with her husband.
