Angela took her first backpacking trip in college, when she slept under the stars for the first time. From then on, she was hooked. As a board member, Angela plans to contribute her professional expertise to help NatureBridge optimize its enterprise in order to serve even more kids.
Prior to NatureBridge, Angela served on the board of Big City Mountaineers, a nonprofit organization that brings at-risk urban youth on wilderness expeditions to foster self-esteem, responsibility and decision-making skills. Angela has worked for PepsiCo, General Mills, Gap Inc and VF Corp (owner of The North Face, amongst other iconic brands). At The North Face where she was Chief Financial Officer for 11 years, she was able to combine her love of the outdoors with her professional interests. She is now the Chief Financial Officer of Mars Veterinary Health, a division of Mars Inc. She lives in California.
