Vivienne has 25+ years of experience working in retail, consumer packaged goods and technology industries leading cross-functional teams, managing P&Ls, growing brands, developing and executing marketing plans and innovation pipelines. As REI’s Chief Marketing Officer, Vivienne drives a bold vision for the future of membership and the co-op’s marketing and brand efforts—connecting more people to the co-op and welcoming the next generation of members as REI works to build an engaged and inspired co-op community. Prior to joining REI, Vivienne spent a decade at Starbucks where she held multiple leadership positions including Vice President of Digital Customer Experience, Vice President of Retail U.S. Beverage and Vice President of Packaged Coffee Innovation. Earlier in her career, she spent time at Clorox and Procter and Gamble in marketing and brand roles, and in the e-commerce space at Microsoft. When she is not working, you will usually find Vivienne out on the water, canoeing or kayaking, or exploring new trails with her daughter (a NatureBridge Olympic alum), dog and friends.
