Vivienne Long is Vice President of Marketing at REI. When she’s not working at the co-op, you can find her out on the water, canoeing or kayaking, or exploring new trails with her daughter (a NatureBridge Olympic alum), dog and friends.

Vivienne has 25+ years of experience working in retail, consumer packaged goods and technology industries leading cross-functional teams, managing P&Ls, growing brands, developing and executing marketing plans and innovation pipelines. At REI, Vivienne leads the brand, marketing, communications, and local engagement functions for the $3.5B Co-op. Prior to joining REI, Vivienne spent a decade at Starbucks. In her tenure at Starbucks she held multiple leadership positions including Vice President of Digital Customer Experience, Vice President of Retail U.S. Beverage, and Vice President of Packaged Coffee Innovation. Earlier in her career, she spent time at Clorox and Procter and Gamble in marketing and brand roles, and in the e-commerce space at Microsoft.
