For Nicole, NatureBridge is the perfect combination of her two greatest passions - education and the outdoors. Nicole is an advocate of accessibility and believes all kids need and deserve experiences in nature regardless of their economic background. “Some people don’t realize how beautiful and amazing nature is because they don’t have access to it,” said Nicole.

Many of Nicole’s most important and memorable experiences have taken place in nature, and she believes in the ability of the outdoors to physically and mentally challenge kids in a positive way. These empowering experiences result in newfound skills and confidence, give kids the opportunity to tap into their authentic selves, and help them realize their potential. Genuine experiences cannot be replicated in front of a screen.

In addition to a career in finance, Nicole brings years of experience in development - including annual fund campaigns, capital campaigns, and major giving. She has lead or participated in development efforts for the Bay Area Discovery Museum, Stanford University, Harvard Business School, Sidwell Friends School, Lick-Wilmerding High School, Menlo School, and the Woodside School Foundation.

Nicole is thrilled to be joining the Board of NatureBridge at this point in her life. As a successful organization with tremendous potential for growth, and a mission she’s passionate about, she looks forward to applying her unique skills and vast network to move the organization forward, giving more kids access to nature.
