Angela Chen
Angela is a global executive with +20 years of finance experience with The North Face (subsidiary of VF Corp), Gap Inc., General Mills, and Pepsico, spanning the apparel & footwear, consumer packaged goods, beverage, and restaurant industries.
She took her first backpacking trip in college, when she slept under the stars for the first time.  From then on, she was hooked. In her role as the Chief Financial Officer of The North Face, Angela had the unique privilege of combining her love of the outdoors into her everyday professional life.  
The North Face’s purpose is to inspire people to live a life of outdoor exploration. This is closely aligned with NatureBridge’s mission to connect youth to the natural world and create the next generation of environmental stewards. As a board member, Angela plans to contribute her professional expertise to help NatureBridge optimize its enterprise in order to serve even more kids. 

Prior to NatureBridge, Angela served on the board of Big City Mountaineers, a non-profit organization that brings at-risk urban youth on wilderness expeditions to foster self-esteem, responsibility, and decision making skills. 
Angela has a B.A. in Economics and English Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles. She lives in San Francisco.
