New Faces at NatureBridge!

Combined Shape Copy Created with Sketch.

This summer has been busy for NatureBridge! In addition to welcoming students back to our summer camps and programs, we also added several new faces to our team across the organization. Please help us extend a warm welcome to our new staff and learn more about them below.

Welcome to NatureBridge

Abbey Gordon photo

Abbey Gordon - Education Director, Golden Gate

Abbey has worked in outdoor, adventure and experiential education for the past 20 years in various roles from camp counselor to director, and she is excited to join and learn from the NatureBridge community on the rugged coast of the Marin Headlands! Abbey is particularly looking forward to building community, playing games and creating opportunities for joy and discovery in the outdoors. She can find humor in most things, love singing songs around the campfire and is passionate about understanding people in their fullness!

Christina Wheeler photo

Christina Wheeler - Education Director, Olympic

Christina is beyond excited to join the NatureBridge community. It is a dream come true for Christina to be part of a team and organization that matches her values and passion for the natural world. She feels most aligned and alive when she has the opportunity to connect people to the natural world, inspire them in their journey of self-discovery and care for our planet today, and for years to come. Born and raised in Washington and Oregon, Christina was fortunate to grow up crabbing and swimming in Hood Canal, hiking and camping among the towering fir, spruce and hemlock trees, playing in the sand and taking frigid dips in the ocean. Northwest Washington is both Christina's home and her favorite place in the world. Christina cannot imagine a better place to serve and join NatureBridge. Christina is excited to meet, partner and collaborate with you all soon!

Hannah Narramore photo

Hannah Narramore - Development Assistant, National

Hannah grew up in Seattle, WA. After earning her degree from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA, Hannah came back to Seattle and worked in outdoor education. After nine years in youth outdoor education, she pivoted to fundraising and development, which makes NatureBridge the perfect place to work— getting to combine her love for getting youth outside and nonprofit development work.

Kenny Eng photo

Kenny Eng - Director of Creative & Communications, National

I am a Bay Area native who currently lives in San Diego, CA and started with NatureBridge on July 25. I spent the past 14 years working at the University of San Diego and am incredibly excited to join the NatureBridge team to positively impact future generations of students to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the natural world. I enjoy backpacking and camping, having spent most of my time in parks around the western United States since I was eight years old.

PaHoua Lee photo

PaHoua Lee - Campus Director, Golden Gate

PaHoua is coming to us by way of Wisconsin and joined us in her new role in July. As a former Golden Gate educator, PaHoua is excited to return to the Marin Headlands in this new capacity and give back to the community. PaHoua is expected to be on-campus by mid-August and is looking forward to connecting with folks on hikes or bike rides around the Bay Area.
